Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Channel Wise (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Channel Wise generates structured audit reports for YouTube channels using publicly available channel data and, optionally, private YouTube analytics that you authorize through Google OAuth. Reports may include computed metrics, AI-assisted analysis, content observations, and recommendations.

The Service is intended to help creators understand their channel performance and identify possible content experiments. It does not guarantee growth, revenue, views, subscribers, rankings, or any specific YouTube outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Connect, audit, or attempt to access YouTube channels or analytics that you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
  • Submit misleading, unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, authentication, usage limits, or security features.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, crawl, overload, or disrupt the Service.
  • Use automated systems to extract reports, templates, outputs, or data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service or its outputs to replicate, clone, or build a substantially similar competing service without our written permission.

4. YouTube and Google Terms

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using features that access YouTube data, you agree to comply with the YouTube Terms of Service and any applicable YouTube API Services terms and policies.

If you authenticate with Google, your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies. You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings.

Your use of YouTube data through the Service must comply with all applicable YouTube and Google terms, policies, and permissions.

5. Reports and Recommendations

Reports are generated from available data, computed metrics, and AI-assisted analysis. The recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not suitable for your specific goals.

Reports describe patterns, correlations, and possible experiments. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any business, creative, or content decisions you make based on the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, report structure, templates, workflows, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content, channel URLs, account information, or YouTube channels you submit or connect to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process that content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may use reports generated for your own channel or a channel you are authorized to manage. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit reports generated by the Service without our written permission.

7. Accounts, Access, and Report Links

Some features may require you to submit an email address, authenticate with Google, or access a private report link.

Audit reports may be delivered through private, time-limited links. Anyone with the private report link may be able to view the report until the link expires or is deleted. You are responsible for keeping report links confidential.

We may suspend, restrict, or revoke access to reports or the Service if we suspect misuse, unauthorized access, abuse, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers, including hosting providers, analytics tools, AI providers, Google APIs, and YouTube API Services. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, APIs, or their availability, behavior, or terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share information, including YouTube and Google user data where applicable. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the Service or connecting your Google account.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any report, recommendation, metric, or analysis will be accurate, complete, current, or produce a specific result.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, business opportunities, audience, subscribers, views, or reputation, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim; or
  • USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, or unauthorized use of YouTube channels, Google accounts, or analytics data.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, misuse the Service, or if continued provision of the Service becomes impractical.

After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of residence or principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts located in the operator’s place of residence or principal place of business, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
